We've been impressed by the staff professionalism, the dedicated teachers and challenging curriculum. My kids are not only challenged out of their comfort zones but enjoy regular and extracurricular offerings that explore and discover their strengths and passions outside the classroom. Additionally, my kids are now excited about Engineering and Robotics, when in the past they used to say math was just too hard. I credit this to the school s focus on teaching kids to solve real-world problems instead of textbook equations. Quarry Lane is also the only private school in the East Bay that offers the International Baccalaureate program, which I d like my children to enroll when they're older. The program focuses on critical thinking and knowledge application, while also encouraging international mindedness, a must have skill for any career in our global world. If you're looking for a stellar, highly-trained staff; challenging curriculum and small school environment, don't enroll your child anywhere else until you check out Quarry Lane.

"It is an expensive school but definitely worth the education. At least so far we have felt it so. The Pleasanton campus has the PreK and the Dublin campus has JK-12. That is one of the advantages over some of the other private schools we have seen around the area that only have up to certain levels. Overall we are happy so far with the school's setup and the progress children generally make with their curriculum."

"This school not only gives my girls the academics but my freshman has discovered she is very good at debate! What other school has an organized debate team that is part of a larger Bay Area organization? These kids are taught LIFE skills they will absolutely need as adults; every teen should compete in debate! Thank you to the fabulous Mr Smith for preparing our kids for yet another good competition. Rock on QLS!! This is a program that not many schools offer."

"Our first child was ready for preschool, so we checked out Quarry Lane's campus on Black Avenue.  My parents founded a private school in the 1980s and my grandfather founded schools in the 60s, and I attended several types of private schools myself when I was a boy."

"After experiencing three different private schools- all very different, I have to say Quarry Lane comes out on top - by a long shot. The program is well rounded-strong academics, music, art, and fun!"

"Each year I am thankful that we made the commitment to provide this opportunity for our child. I know she is engaged and challenged in a way that will instill in her a passion for learning and a lifelong commitment to being her best. I am thankful for each teacher who has taught her on this journey. I suggest parents who are thinking of exploring this school, take the time to visit it and see the program in action. Talk with students and teachers and you will understand that Quarry Lane offers a first class education."

Choosing a school can be one of the most challenging yet important decisions a parent can make. After meeting with the staff and teachers at QLS I knew I had made the correct choice by sending my daughter there for high school. The school offers a full range of honors courses, AP courses and the opportunity for an IB diploma. I believe Quarry Lane s focus on individual students needs, passionate, knowledgeable teachers and invested, professional administrators make THIS private high school worth every dollar spent on tuition.
